About Us
Hello, I'm Chieko, the operator of American Insurance Navigator.
Using my experience working in the insurance industry in Japan, I am currently providing easy-to-understand and reliable insurance information in Japanese to Japanese people living in the United States.
After I moved to the U.S., I struggled many times with differences in insurance systems and the English language barrier. Choosing medical and life insurance is a very important issue, especially for families with young children or those who have moved with elderly parents.
This site provides easy-to-understand explanations in Japanese of information on medical insurance, life insurance, insurance for children, insurance for the elderly, and more, to help ease such worries as much as possible.
We aim to create a website that can be used with confidence by those who are not good at English or who are unsure about how insurance works.
Thank you very much for your cooperation.

Why is the American health insurance system so confusing?
The US health system is complicated for a number of reasons:
Each state has its own system (e.g., California and Texas have different subsidy systems)
Too many types of insurance (HMO, PPO, Medicare, Medicaid, etc.)
All documents and explanations are in English and full of technical terms
Lack of tools to compare insurance that suits you
Support is based on the premise that you can speak English

Providing a safe and secure option for your life
Insurance is not just for the unexpected, but also for preparing to live comfortably in the present.
So that Japanese people living in America can live each day with peace of mind.
And to make the choice to protect your family easier to understand.
"America Insurance Navi" is run with this idea in mind.
